Dancing In The Kitchen ft. Sweet Peas Stamping

March 16, 2013. I was married to my sweetheart for time and all eternity on that special day and 4 years, 3 months, 2 kids, 3 states, 6 moves, and whole lot kitchen dances, tickle fights, love and laughter later, it’s still the best day of my life. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am the luckiest girl in the world.

I’ve been looking for cool pieces of jewelry that Eric and I could both wear to commemorate our anniversary. When I found Sweet Peas Stamping on Instagram, I was seriously impressed! I knew her stuff would be the perfect fit for us and I was so excited to work with her. Kayla, the owner of this Etsy shop, is an adorable mother of three who hand stamps jewelry for the whole family. Her work is beautiful! She has lots of amazing pieces already in her shop that you can buy for yourself or as a gift, or you can custom make something like we did.

For Eric, she made an awesome leather bracelet with a copper plate that has our anniversary stamped in Roman Numerals. For me, she made a gold bangle with a disc charm that also has our anniversary stamped. We’ve both been wearing these pieces almost daily because they are so simple, yet so meaningful.

Once again, Erin K. Photo has worked her photo wizardry for this lifestyle shoot.

Full disclosure: This is not my kitchen hahaha. I wish it was. We are fortunate enough to live in the basement apartment of some great friends who have a beautiful home with a beautiful kitchen. Our apartment didn’t have quite enough natural light for the pictures I wanted, so upstairs we went! Also, this was supposed to be a “mommy and daddy only” shoot, but the babies jumped in and we rolled with it! Keepin’ it real, folks.
